The Retha website is operated by Retha, which is the controller for the personal data described here. Learning activity itself takes place on Retha’s learning platform and is covered by separate privacy information.

We keep what you give us and what the site needs to work: your email address and, if you provide it, your name; the account record you sign in with; a security check performed when you sign in or send a form; your cookie choice; and ordinary technical logs created when a page is requested, such as the time, the address requested, the browser you used and its approximate region.

To provide the site: signing in, showing your account details, running security checks and remembering your consent. To keep it reliable and secure: detecting abuse and faults. To answer you: responding to messages you send us. To improve the site: understanding which pages are useful, and only when you allow analytics cookies.

Where the GDPR applies we rely on the following: performance of a contract for your account and the services you request; our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights, for security and reliability; your consent for analytics and marketing storage; and our legal obligations where we must keep certain records.

Account data is kept while your account is open. Consent choices are kept for six months and then confirmed again. Security and technical logs are kept only as long as needed to investigate abuse or faults, and are then deleted.

This website does not send marketing messages and sells nothing about you to anyone. No advertising or marketing cookie is set unless you accept the marketing category, and no analytics or marketing tool runs before you make that choice.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent to cookies at any time. Withdrawing consent never blocks you from using the site. Send requests from the email address you use with Retha; we answer in writing within the period the law allows.

Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider and protected by a bot check. Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS. No online service can promise absolute security, so please tell us if you notice anything unusual about your account.

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. When a change affects the choices you made in the banner, we ask you to confirm those choices again.
